It's been nearly 200 years since the US made it's debut into what would be one of the most influential industries of modern civilization. A track was laid with an iron horse atop. People, their luggage and freight to be shipped, all boarded. The locomotive puffed out steam as it set off across the tracks as trailblazer. This was 1827.
While the steam
locomotive was invented in England 30 year prior, it was not commercialized until 1824. Also, it was original pulled by horse in England.
